A report from the Reykjavik health authorities states that a baby mouse, found dead in a salad earlier this week, was inside a bag of spinach packaged in Spain. The spinach had not been washed at the restaurant.

So concludes the great mystery.

According to the Reykjavik health authorities, the spinach was unwashed and came in 500 g bags from Spain.  All spinach from the same company has been called in and the restaurant is not selling it anymore.

Exactly what kind of mouse was in the salad is not known yet.
